IngrainedImpact Tracker

Ingrained: Impact Tracker is a mobile app published by Elowin LLC, developed in partnership with Deeply Ingrained, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It helps program staff record who attended a program, basic participant demographics, and volunteer sign-ins, quickly and reliably, even in the field.

What the app does

Ingrained is built for anyone running a program that needs fast, reliable field data — youth programs, community organizations, mentorship sessions, and similar efforts. Staff use it to capture program data on a phone or tablet during an event, instead of paper sign-in sheets or spreadsheets typed up later.

• Roster: record participants at each session, with custom fields your organization defines.
• Demographics: capture optional demographic information for grant reporting.
• Volunteer sign-in: log volunteers and their sign-in and sign-out times.

How your data is stored

You choose where your data lives:

• On your device: data stays local and is never transmitted anywhere.
• Google Sheets: data syncs to a single Google Sheet that you create or select through the app. Ingrained requests only the drive.file permission, so it can access only that one spreadsheet, not anything else in your Google Drive.
• Monday.com: data syncs to boards in your Monday.com account using your own API token.

How Ingrained uses Google data

When you connect Google Sheets, Ingrained uses Google Sign-In and the drive.file scope to create and write to the specific spreadsheet you designate. It records program attendance, demographics, and volunteer data to that sheet. Ingrained does not read, list, or access any other files in your Google Drive, and Elowin LLC never receives or stores your program data. Ingrained's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who it's for

Ingrained is intended for use by program staff and administrators at any organization that tracks attendance, demographics, or volunteer hours — not just one type of organization. The app supports programs that serve youth, and is operated by adult staff for record-keeping and grant-reporting purposes.
